Getting here

 

From the airport:

 

Private Car - Can be arranged by calling us prior to arrival.

 

Train - The train does not go to the airport so you must first take a bus from the airport to Colombo.  Visit the Sri Lanka train website for information about train schedules:  http://www.railway.gov.lk/

 

Note that if you are taking the train anytime past 15:00 it will be crowded and will be difficult to find space for your luggage and yourself!

 

Bus - From the airport you can take a bus to Kaduwela. From here you can get on a highway bus which will take you directly to Galle. The highway bus will take about 1 1/2 hours to reach Galle.  Once you reach Galle you will have to transfer to a bus headed for Matara and get off in Weligama.  

 

Note buses may charge additional fees for your luggage and surfboard.

 

From other areas in Sri Lanka

 

The best way to arrive here is to take a bus or train into Weligama.  If there is no direct route to Weligama you can first to Galle or Matara and from there get a connection to Weligama.  

 

Once you arrive in Weligama we can arrange for a tuk tuk to pick you up or you can ask a tuk tuk to take you to our place (please ask the driver to call us so we can direct him to our location).
